Rossella Di Rosa received her Ph.D in Italian from Rutgers University. She is currently an Instructor at the University of Georgia. Her academic interests revolve around language pedagogy and theory of foreign language acquisition, twentieth-century Italian and Spanish literature, women’s writing, and Environmental Humanities. She has published articles on Anna Maria Ortese and Elsa Morante, focusing her attention on both the role of the hispanidad and María Zambrano’s influence as well as the authors’ development of an ecological thought. At the present moment, she is studying Fabrizia Ramondino’s contribution to the ongoing philosophical debate in the fields of Animal Studies.
