Author Biography

Tomas Buitendijk, Dublin City University

Tomas Buitendijk is a Ph.D. Candidate at the School of English of Dublin City University. His Ph.D. thesis is entitled 'Towards a Contemporary Poetics of the Sea'. His research interests are: cli-fi, representations of the ocean in contemporary fiction and film, ecocriticism, ecofeminism, Actor-Network Theory; and the works by Stacy Alaimo, Karen Barad, Donna Haraway, Bruno Latour, Timothy Morton and Anna L. Tsing, among others.
