Author Biography

Brigette Natalie McCray, Louisiana State University

Brigette N. McCray is in her final year as a PhD candidate in the English department at Louisiana State University. She earned her MA in English and MFA in creative writing from Virginia Commonwealth University. Her fiction, poetry, essays, and book reviews appear in Southern Humanities Review, storySouth.com, Timber Creek Review, Red Rock Review, The Explicator, and The Journal of Homosexuality. She was named the outstanding women’s and gender studies graduate student at LSU for 2010.
