Tiffany Troy, Independent

Tiffany Troy is the author of Dominus (BlazeVOX [books]) and co-translator of Santiago Acosta’s The Coming Desert / El próximo desierto, in collaboration with Acosta and the 4W International Women Collective Translation Project at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is Managing Editor at Tupelo Quarterly, Associate Editor of Tupelo Press, and Book Review Co-Editor at The Los Angeles Review. She is a finalist of the Changing Light Award from Livingston Press at the University of West Alabama.

 

Santiago Acosta is a Venezuelan poet and scholar based in New Haven. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese at Yale University. His fourth and most recent poetry collection, El próximo desierto (The Coming Desert), won the III José Emilio Pacheco Literature Prize “Ciudad y Naturaleza,” awarded by the Guadalajara International Book Fair (FIL) and the Museum of Environmental Sciences of Guadalajara University. In 2024, Spain’s Visor Libros released a collection of his selected poetry, La desesperanza (Hopelessness). He was an invited poet at the United Nations Climate Change Conference COP26.
