Este ensayo analiza la erosión paralela de los océanos del mundo y del inconsciente humano, basándose en la psicología junguiana, la ecología marina y relatos personales de sueños, para sugerir que el colapso ecológico es también una crisis psíquica.

Biografía del autor/a

Pinar Yoldas, Neuroartist and Bioarchitect

Dr. Pinar Yoldas is an artist, architect, and neuroscientist whose work explores ecological futures, speculative biology, and the relationship between art, science, and environmental systems. She is an Associate Professor of Speculative Design at the University of California, San Diego. Her work has been exhibited internationally, including at the Venice Architecture Biennale, the Royal Academy of Arts in London, MAAT – Museum of Art, Architecture and Technology in Lisbon, and ICA San Diego. She is the recipient of the John Simon Guggenheim Fellowship and the Creative Capital Award. Yoldas holds a PhD from Duke University and degrees in architecture and art from UCLA, Bilgi University, Istanbul Technical University, and Middle East Technical University. Dr. Yoldas had her first solo exhibition when she was five and received a bronze medal in chemistry Olympics.
