Biographie de l'auteur-e

Katie Ritson, Rachel Carson Center for Environment & Society, LMU Munich

Katie studied German, Comparative Literature, and Nordic Philology at the University of Cambridge and Ludwig-Maximilian-University Munich, gaining her doctoral degree in 2016. Her first book, The Shifting Sands of the North Sea Lowlands: Literary and Historical Imaginaries was published by Routledge in 2019. Katie is currently research fellow at the Rachel Carson Center for Environment & Society at LMU Munich, where her project "OFFSHORE: Energy Cultures of the North Sea" is funded by the German Research Council. She is coordinator of the Ecocriticial Network in Scandinavian Studies (ENSCAN) and serves on the editorial board of the journal Nordeuropaforum.
