Hanna Straß has a M.A. in Intercultural Anglophone Studies from the University of Bayreuth and is currently a member of the DFG-research training group Globalization and Literature. Presentations, Transformations, Interventions at the LMU Munich, where she works on her PhD project with the working title: “Stories of Pollution: Narrating Toxicity in Postcolonial Contexts”. Her research interests include postcolonial literatures and theory, postcolonial ecocriticism, Gothic literature, globalization. She is a co-founder of the postgraduate forum “Environment, Literature, Culture” (ELC) and webinar coordinator for EASLCE.
