Françoise Lucas got her PhD from the University of Amsterdam in 1998. She is currently Lecturer of French Literature and Culture and Teacher Trainer at the HAN University of Applied Sciences, Nijmegen, the Netherlands. She is also a photographer. Her abstract photography has been the object of various exhibitions and publications in the Netherlands, France and on the internet.
