Author Biography

Katie Hogan, University of North Carolina at Charlotte

Katie Hogan is a professor of English and faculty affiliate in Women’s and Gender Studies at the University of North Carolina, Charlotte. Hogan’s book Women Take Care: Gender, Race, and the Culture of AIDS was a finalist for the CGS Gustave O. Arlt Award in the Humanities. Katie’s current project is  “Imaging Climate Change Through Queer and Trans Literature.” Hogan’s teaching interests include the literature of environmental justice,  queer and trans ecologies, girl cultures, and LGBTQIA literature.
