Resumen

Tantos compuestos, minerales y células dan vida al desierto. ¿Qué estamos aportando colectivamente para que nos arrastre la corriente? ¿Un ahogamiento del misterio, la curiosidad y el compromiso por parte de modelos de personalidad que desencadenan una avalancha de persuasión? Digitalizar es vigilar. Yo defiendo esta causa, pero corro el riesgo de que me tachen de «rebelde», lo cual es peligroso para una persona con discapacidad, ya que conlleva numerosas consecuencias. ¿Nos resignamos a confiar en que la inteligencia artificial pueda respetar la diversidad, en lugar de simplemente barrernos dentro o fuera del panorama?

Naomi Ortiz, Poet, Writer, Visual Artist

Naomi Ortiz (they/them) is a Disabled Mestize poet, visual artist, and author of, Rituals for Climate Change: A Crip Struggle for Ecojustice and Sustaining Spirit: Self-Care for Social Justice. Most recently, they co-edited the international anthology, Every Place on the Map is Disabled: Poems and Essays. Ortiz is a Reclaiming the U.S./Mexico Border Narrative Awardee and a United States Artists Disability Futures Fellow. Through their multidisciplinary work, they invite people to imagine how self-care, disability justice, climate action, and other relational practices create a collective future.
