Author Biography

Mae T. Kilker, University of Notre Dame

Mae Kilker is a doctoral candidate at the Medieval Institute of the University of Notre Dame, currently on a Fulbright Research Grant in Uppsala, Sweden. Her research contextualizes literary imagination and cultural memory through ecological humanities with a focus on material ecocriticism. Her dissertation focuses on Felix's Vita GuthlaciBeowulf, and the Gesta Herewardi as sites of environmental memory of the Anglo-Saxon lived experience in the Fens.
