Author Biography

Roman Bartosch, University of Cologne

Roman Bartosch (Dr. phil) teaches English literatures at the University of Cologne. He has published on postcolonial and posthumanist theory and in his research focuses on literary theories, environmental criticism and animality in literature and culture. His book EnvironMentality - Ecocriticism and the Event of Postcolonial Fiction has been published with Rodopi in 2013; a collection of essays he edited together with Sieglinde Grimm, Teaching Environments - Ecocritical Encounters came out in 2014 with Peter Lang.
