R. Sreejith Varma, Vellore Institute of Technology

R. Sreejith Varma is an assistant professor at the Department of English, School of Social Sciences and Languages, Vellore Institute of Technology, India. He earned his Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras. He is a bilingual poet and short-story writer who writes in English and Malayalam, his first language. He is also the co-translator of Mayilamma: The Life of a Tribal Eco-Warrior which chronicles the life of Mayilamma, the tribal woman leader of the anti-Coca-Cola struggle in Plachimada, Kerala.
