Anna Svensson is a PhD student at the Division of History of Science, Technology and Environment at KTH, Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm. She is exploring the history of botanical collections and collection spaces, and how these are a measure of both continuity and discontinuity in botany as a cumulative science. With a background in English literature and museum studies, she has a particular interest in the early modern intersection of various textual traditions, collecting cultures and the study of plants.
