Jos Smith, University of East Anglia

Jos Smith is a lecturer in contemporary literature at the University of East Anglia. He is the author of The New Nature Writing: Rethinking the Literature of Place and numerous articles exploring the overlaps between literary geographies, cultural geographies and ecocriticism. He is currently working on a book about the arts and environmental charity Common Ground which, more broadly, offers a cultural history of the relationship between the environmental movement and the arts in Britain since the 1970s.
