Eleonor Botoman, New York University

Eleonor Botoman is a graduate student in New York University's Experimental Humanities (XE) and Museum Studies programs where she researches environmental art literature, the impacts of climate change on cultural institutions, and plant and animal-based creative practices in the face of ecological crisis. As a cultural worker, she has held positions at the Cooper Hewitt Museum, David Zwirner Books, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the Center for Architecture. Her writing has appeared in Artforum, C Magazine, BlackFlash Magazine, Interiors Journal, and The Long Now Foundation. She continues to be involved with Bridge Initiative, a Miami-based environmental advocacy group dedicated to protecting ecocultural marine heritage.
