Biografia autore

Irene Sanz Alonso, University of Alcalá

Irene Sanz obtained her PhD at the Franklin Institute of the University of AlcalÁ (Madrid, Spain) in 2014 with the dissertation on "Redefining Humanity in Science Fiction: the Alien from an Ecofeminist Perspective." She is member of GIECO, a Spanish research group on ecocriticism. She works as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Modern Philology of the University of Alcalá. Her publications and conference presentations focus on science fiction, fantasy and ecofeminism. She is also the Secretary in Ecozon@.
