Urjinkhand Onon, Independent artist

Urjinkhand Onon, born in 1979, studied painting at School of Fine Arts, Mongolian State University of Arts and Culture, Ulan Bator, and now works in a traditional Mongolian painting style.

Orna Tsultem (Ph.D. UC Berkeley) is an art historian of Asian art with expertise in Mongolia. Her active curatorial practice covers Mongolian and global contemporary art with exhibitions in Shanghai, Hong Kong, Venice and NYC. She is the first curator of Mongolia active in the field since 1993. Her award-winning research and publications cover various historical traditions as well as contemporary artists from Mongolia and the Himalayas.
