Faezeh Mohajeri, The State University of New York at Albany

Faezeh Mohajeri is a PhD student in English at The State University of New York at Albany. Her research engages with biopolitics, environmental humanities, affect theory, and nonhuman studies, with a recent focus on slimy marine creatures in nineteenth-century transatlantic literature. Her work has appeared in Primerjalna književnost, Comparative Literature: East & West, Anglo Saxonica, Green Letters: Studies in Ecocriticism, and Food, Culture & Society.
